Luc Brisson est n\u00e9 le 7 ao\u00fbt 1958 \u00e0 Chicoutimi, au Qu\u00e9bec. Il s'est engag\u00e9 dans la Marine royale du Canada le 1er mai 1979. Luc a suivi sa formation \u00e0 Saint-Jean, au Qu\u00e9bec, et au NCSM Stadacona, \u00e0 Halifax.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

M. Brisson a suivi les cours suivants : cours de base, cours de matelot, cours de technicien en g\u00e9nie maritime, cours sur les syst\u00e8mes d'imagerie num\u00e9rique de l'environnement et cours de conversion des fr\u00e9gates de patrouille. Les navires sur lesquels Luc a servi sont les suivants : NCSM Skeena, NCSM Assiniboine, NCSM Protecteur, NCSM Vancouver, NCSM Montr\u00e9al, NCSM Saugenay et NCSM Champlain. Il a servi au Canada, dans les oc\u00e9ans Atlantique et Arctique, en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, dans les Cara\u00efbes, dans la mer du Nord, dans la mer Baltique et dans toute l'Europe, notamment en Espagne, au Portugal et en France.<\/p>\n

M. Brisson a re\u00e7u la M\u00e9daille du service sp\u00e9cial, la M\u00e9daille canadienne du maintien de la paix, la M\u00e9daille du service des Nations Unies (Yougoslavie), ainsi que la M\u00e9daille et la Barrette du service distingu\u00e9 des Forces canadiennes. Luc a \u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9r\u00e9 le 20 janvier 2002. Son m\u00e9tier au moment de sa lib\u00e9ration \u00e9tait celui d'officier m\u00e9canicien de marine et son grade \u00e9tait celui de ma\u00eetre de 2e classe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Luc est mari\u00e9 \u00e0 Mary Margret Doyle de Sydney, Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, et il a quatre enfants, trois filles et un fils. Son fils est matelot-chef affect\u00e9 au NCSM Ville de Qu\u00e9bec, et sa fille est caporal-chef dans les Dragoons royaux canadiens. Luc et Marg sont membres du club de motards des v\u00e9t\u00e9rans de l'ONU et de l'OTAN du Canada depuis plus de 10 ans. Leur devise est \u00ab N'oubliez jamais qui nous sommes. \u00bb<\/p>\n
