Par le Centre de ressources des familles militaires d\u2019Halifax et r\u00e9gions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le Centre de ressources des familles des militaires d\u2019Halifax et R\u00e9gions (CRFM H&R) est heureux d\u2019annoncer que la Fondation RBC a approuv\u00e9 une subvention d\u2019un an de 75000\u202f$ destin\u00e9e \u00e0 notre programme sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 de garde d\u2019enfants occasionnelle. Le programme vise \u00e0 renforcer la r\u00e9silience des enfants et \u00e0 favoriser le bien-\u00eatre des parents\/tuteurs \u00e0 la maison.<\/p>\n

Le financement permettra de renforcer le programme de garde d'enfants occasionnelle sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e existant tout en y ajoutant du personnel et des s\u00e9ances suppl\u00e9mentaires, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un service plus durable et utile pour les familles des militaires.<\/p>\n

Le programme de garde d'enfants occasionnelle sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e du CRFM H et R a un impact direct sur la vie des familles des militaires locales en offrant aux parents l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des services de garde d'enfants inclusifs et \u00e0 court terme pendant qu'ils vivent des d\u00e9m\u00e9nagements, des absences et des transitions. Les familles ont indiqu\u00e9 que le manque d'options en mati\u00e8re de garde d'enfants peut \u00eatre un obstacle \u00e0 l'acc\u00e8s aux services, et c'est pourquoi nous cherchons \u00e0 rendre le programme plus souple et mieux adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le programme est ouvert aux nourrissons de huit mois et plus, jusqu'aux enfants de 12 ans qui font partie d'une famille de militaire ou d'une famille de v\u00e9t\u00e9ran qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment lib\u00e9r\u00e9 pour des raisons m\u00e9dicales. Les familles peuvent s'inscrire au service en ligne et payer une somme modique. Si le paiement est un obstacle, les familles sont encourag\u00e9es \u00e0 travailler avec notre \u00e9quipe pour trouver des options flexibles.<\/p>\n

Le programme offre un espace s\u00e9curisant et accueillant aux jeunes enfants pour qu'ils puissent se rapprocher de leurs pairs par le biais de jeux et d'exp\u00e9riences sociales. \"En r\u00e9unissant les enfants de familles militaires avec d'autres membres de la communaut\u00e9 qui comprennent les d\u00e9fis uniques de la vie militaire, ils peuvent se sentir compris et moins isol\u00e9s\", d\u00e9clare Shelley Hopkins, directrice ex\u00e9cutive.<\/p>\n

La BFC Halifax et la 12e Escadre Shearwater sont hautement op\u00e9rationnelles et les d\u00e9ploiements fr\u00e9quents et cons\u00e9cutifs touchent des centaines de familles chaque ann\u00e9e. Pour ces familles, l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des services de garde d'enfants \u00e0 court terme peut les aider \u00e0 rester r\u00e9silientes pendant le cycle de d\u00e9ploiement. Pendant la r\u00e9installation, les familles peuvent avoir acc\u00e8s au service lorsqu'elles font ou d\u00e9font leurs bo\u00eetes, s'installent, cherchent un emploi et recherchent un soutien m\u00e9dical ou en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 mentale. Au cours de la transition vers les Forces ou hors des Forces, les familles peuvent utiliser le service pour se rendre \u00e0 des rendez-vous ou pour rencontrer notre \u00e9quipe.<\/p>\n

Le programme n\u2019est pas financ\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale, et les frais de programme compensent une partie des co\u00fbts d\u2019exploitation. Le financement de la Fondation RBC couvrira une grande partie des co\u00fbts associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre et au remaniement de ce programme de grande qualit\u00e9, pr\u00e9ventif et utile.<\/p>\n
