Le 11 octobre, l'\u00e9quipe de la promotion de la sant\u00e9 des PSP a organis\u00e9 une foire de la sant\u00e9 dans la salle d'exercices du b\u00e2timent S120 \u00e0 Stadacona. Il s'agissait de la premi\u00e8re foire de ce genre depuis la pand\u00e9mie et elle a marqu\u00e9 une \u00e9tape importante dans la reprise de l'\u00e9lan perdu pour la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre de la communaut\u00e9 des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes ici \u00e0 Halifax et \u00e0 Shearwater.<\/p>\n

Bien que l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement ait \u00e9t\u00e9 moins important que par le pass\u00e9, l'accueil a \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement positif. La foire a rassembl\u00e9 divers fournisseurs de services de sant\u00e9 de la base et de la HRM pour des pr\u00e9sentations de services, des d\u00e9monstrations et de l'\u00e9ducation. L'objectif \u00e9tait de montrer aux membres des FAC les options de sant\u00e9 qui leur sont offertes en tant que membres des forces arm\u00e9es et au-del\u00e0.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De nombreuses unit\u00e9s passionn\u00e9es \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sentes, ainsi que plusieurs d\u00e9partements des PSP. Qu'il s'agisse de soins dentaires, de r\u00e9adaptation ou du programme d'aide aux employ\u00e9s, les membres des FAC ont eu l'occasion de s'entretenir avec divers fournisseurs qui r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 leurs besoins particuliers. Il y avait \u00e9galement plusieurs exposants de Halifax et des environs, qui encourageaient les loisirs et les modes de vie sains et actifs.<\/span><\/p>\n

La foire comprenait \u00e9galement des cadeaux, des prix de pr\u00e9sence et m\u00eame un concours de sculpture de citrouille pour une petite comp\u00e9tition amicale entre les unit\u00e9s. Toutes nos f\u00e9licitations au Ltv Szachury et au L\u2019Ens 1 Baljet du NCSM Harry DeWolf pour leur citrouille gagnante !<\/p>\n

Tous les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par les exposants pour informer et \u00e9duquer les membres des FAC m\u00e9ritent d'\u00eatre applaudis et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s. Un grand merci aux commanditaires, Stirling Farms et Howard Dill Enterprises, qui ont fourni des citrouilles, des pommes et du cidre, et qui ont concr\u00e9tis\u00e9 le th\u00e8me de la \u00ab r\u00e9colte \u00bb pour l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
