\"\"J'\u00e9tais r\u00e9cemment chez Costco et j'ai remarqu\u00e9 que les produits d'Halloween et de No\u00ebl \u00e9taient d\u00e9j\u00e0 expos\u00e9s. J'ai regard\u00e9 ma s\u0153ur et j'ai dit : \u00ab Pourquoi est-ce qu'ils nous pressent de passer l'\u00e9t\u00e9 ? \u00bb J'ai du mal \u00e0 croire que l'\u00e9t\u00e9 est d\u00e9j\u00e0 termin\u00e9 ; j'ai l'impression qu'il n'a commenc\u00e9 que la semaine derni\u00e8re. La vie passe si vite qu'avant m\u00eame que nous le sachions, nos shorts et nos T-shirts seront rang\u00e9s, et les pulls et les bottes trouveront leur place dans nos placards de l'entr\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Avez-vous pris le temps, cet \u00e9t\u00e9, de prendre du recul par rapport \u00e0 votre vie tr\u00e9pidante et de vous d\u00e9tendre ? Je reviens de Banff, o\u00f9 j'ai d\u00e9couvert pour la premi\u00e8re fois la majest\u00e9 des Rocheuses. Si elles ne figurent pas parmi les sept merveilles du monde, elles devraient l'\u00eatre. Partout o\u00f9 je regardais, les paysages \u00e9taient spectaculaires. Et honn\u00eatement, je ne pouvais m'emp\u00eacher de me sentir insignifiant par rapport \u00e0 la splendeur qui s'offrait \u00e0 moi y compris.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vous sentez-vous insignifiant par rapport \u00e0 quelque chose ou \u00e0 quelqu'un dans votre vie ? C'est un d\u00e9fi, n'est-ce pas, lorsque nous rencontrons quelqu'un qui est plus grand que la vie ? Il est difficile de s'emp\u00eacher de comparer notre vie \u00e0 la sienne, mais la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 est que nous n'avons pas besoin de nous comparer \u00e0 qui que ce soit. Il y a suffisamment de succ\u00e8s et d'accolades pour tout le monde, pour que chacun en re\u00e7oive une partie. Alors pourquoi le faisons-nous ? Pourquoi regardons-nous la vie de quelqu'un d'autre et pensons-nous qu'il est si sp\u00e9cial et que nous n'avons rien \u00e0 lui offrir ? Nous le faisons tous, moi y compris.<\/span><\/p>\n

How would our lives be different if we all looked in the mirror and liked who we saw? Doesn\u2019t it feel great when someone tells us that they are proud of us? What if we said that to ourselves, and meant it? We all have a purpose in life \u2013 we are all called to be kind and compassionate human beings. If we are doing that and living that, and if we are extending our hands towards someone in need, there will be no need to feel insignificant. I guarantee that through the eyes of the people we help, we will be seen as someone pretty special.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
