Le 1er ao\u00fbt, la Musique Stadacona de la Marine royale du Canada a organis\u00e9 une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de promotion sp\u00e9ciale pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la promotion du Ma\u00eetre de 1re classe Susan Kulik au poste de Premier ma\u00eetre de 2e classe par int\u00e9rim, ainsi que sa nomination au poste de Premier ma\u00eetre de l'unit\u00e9. La fanfare a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment l'\u00e9l\u00e9vation du chef de fanfare sortant, Chris Webster, au rang de premier ma\u00eetre de 1re classe, alors qu'il s'appr\u00eate \u00e0 occuper le nouveau poste de chef de la Branche musicale des Forces canadiennes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La premier ma\u00eetre de 2e classe Kulik a grandi pr\u00e8s de Montr\u00e9al et dit avoir su d\u00e8s l'\u00e2ge de dix ans qu'elle voulait poursuivre une carri\u00e8re musicale. Pour alimenter ce r\u00eave, elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la fl\u00fbte \u00e0 bec, la fl\u00fbte traversi\u00e8re, le piano et le violon en priv\u00e9 avant d'obtenir son dipl\u00f4me du Coll\u00e8ge Vanier (DEC) en 1984 et de l'Universit\u00e9 McGill (B.Mus) en 1987.<\/span><\/p>\n

La Pm 2 Kulik a grandi pr\u00e8s de Montr\u00e9al et a su d\u00e8s l'\u00e2ge de dix ans qu'elle voulait poursuivre une carri\u00e8re musicale. La Pm 2 Kulik est mari\u00e9 \u00e0 George Kulik, qui est \u00e9galement musicien au sein de la Musique Stadacona, et ils ont \u00e9lev\u00e9 ensemble leur fils.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En tant que chef de la Branche de la musique, le Pm 1 Chris Webster sera d\u00e9sormais le musicien MR le plus haut grad\u00e9 de la Force r\u00e9guli\u00e8re. Bien que ce poste soit normalement associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une affectation \u00e0 Ottawa, le Pm 1 Webster travaillera \u00e0 distance \u00e0 partir de la BFC Halifax.<\/span><\/p>\n
