C'est \u00e0 nouveau le moment de l'ann\u00e9e, la saison des affectations. Il y a les d\u00e9jeuners d'adieu, les barbecues et les r\u00e9unions pour dire au revoir aux coll\u00e8gues et \u00e0 leurs familles, ou peut-\u00eatre que c'est vous qui partez pour une nouvelle base, une nouvelle escadre ou une nouvelle formation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il peut \u00eatre difficile de dire au revoir, car comme nous le savons tous, apr\u00e8s avoir travaill\u00e9 si \u00e9troitement ensemble pendant quelques ann\u00e9es, nos coll\u00e8gues peuvent rapidement devenir des amis proches, voire des membres de la famille. Pendant la pand\u00e9mie, beaucoup d'entre nous ont form\u00e9 leur \u00ab bulle \u00bb avec d'autres membres des FAC. Mais la la p\u00e9riode active des affectations (PAA) n'est plus ce qu'elle \u00e9tait il y a 20 ou 30 ans, lorsque la communication se r\u00e9sumait au courrier traditionnel ou \u00e0 des appels t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques longue distance co\u00fbteux. Aujourd'hui, nous avons FaceTime, Messenger, Skype, le courrier \u00e9lectronique, les textes et tant d'autres moyens de rester en contact!<\/span><\/p>\n

La vie que nous avons choisie est une vie quelque peu nomade, n'est-ce pas ? C'est une vie d'aventure et de nouvelles exp\u00e9riences, certaines bonnes, d'autres \u00e9prouvantes, et d'autres encore qui ne se produisent qu'une seule fois dans une vie. Quelle autre carri\u00e8re nous offre la possibilit\u00e9 de conna\u00eetre des gens de tout le pays et d'explorer diff\u00e9rentes provinces et territoires?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nous avons la chance d'avoir notre mot \u00e0 dire sur l'endroit o\u00f9 nous sommes affect\u00e9s. En indiquant nos pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences en mati\u00e8re d'affectation, nous pouvons faire savoir au gestionnaire de carri\u00e8re o\u00f9 nous aimerions aller. Parfois, nous obtenons l'un de nos choix, mais ce n'est pas toujours le cas. Peut-\u00eatre avez-vous \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9 \u00e0 un poste que vous ne souhaitiez pas n\u00e9cessairement. Cela signifie-t-il que l'exp\u00e9rience sera d\u00e9sastreuse ? Pas n\u00e9cessairement. Nous retirons de nos affectations ce que nous y mettons. Il y a des choses que nous pouvons faire pour que chaque affectation soit une exp\u00e9rience positive, non seulement pour nous-m\u00eames, mais aussi pour nos familles.<\/span><\/p>\n

En explorant de nouvelles communaut\u00e9s, nous pouvons d\u00e9couvrir un tr\u00e9sor cach\u00e9 d'activit\u00e9s dont nous pouvons profiter. En recherchant des groupes locaux qui partagent un int\u00e9r\u00eat commun, nous pouvons nouer de nouvelles amiti\u00e9s. Quel que soit l'endroit o\u00f9 nous sommes affect\u00e9s, nous pouvons en faire une grande aventure.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
