Je suis actuellement d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 en mer pour soutenir des op\u00e9rations au cours desquelles nous ferons litt\u00e9ralement le tour du monde en 90 (et non 80) jours. C'est une exp\u00e9rience incroyable, voire unique. Au cours de ce d\u00e9ploiement, nous verrons des pays, visiterons des ports et vivrons des exp\u00e9riences que beaucoup d'entre nous ne r\u00e9p\u00e9teront jamais. Il y a quelque chose dans le voyage, l'aventure et l'exp\u00e9rience de lieux lointains qui nous donne une perspective et un sentiment de nouveau d\u00e9part, o\u00f9 nous pouvons presque \u00eatre ce que nous voudrions \u00eatre, en contraste avec notre vie quotidienne ordinaire.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mais il y a un grand dicton qui dit : <\/span>O\u00f9 que tu ailles, tu es l\u00e0<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Une autre fa\u00e7on de le dire est que vous ne pouvez pas vous d\u00e9passer. En d'autres termes, o\u00f9 que vous alliez, vous ne pouvez pas vous \u00e9chapper. Bien s\u00fbr, vous pouvez vous \u00e9loigner de votre famille \u00e9largie lorsque vous d\u00e9m\u00e9nagez \u00e0 Cold Lake, mais, comme on peut s'y attendre, vos probl\u00e8mes y appara\u00eetront aussi. O\u00f9 que vous alliez, vous \u00eates l\u00e0. Les sacs que j'ai apport\u00e9s sur le bateau depuis la jet\u00e9e d'Halifax sont toujours les m\u00eames dans ma cabine aujourd'hui, quel que soit le continent que je visite.<\/p>\n

Donc, si cet axiome est vrai (et je pense qu'il l'est), nous avons l'occasion d'en faire l'exp\u00e9rience avec un r\u00e9sultat soit n\u00e9gatif, soit positif. Mais cela n'est pas le fruit du hasard ou de bonnes intentions. Il faut au contraire de la discipline, de l'intentionnalit\u00e9 et la volont\u00e9 de \u00ab serrer le cactus \u00bb dans notre vie, si n\u00e9cessaire.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans cette optique, la plupart d'entre nous ont certaines de ces choses qui sont rest\u00e9es en suspens, non r\u00e9solues. Elles nous accompagnent o\u00f9 que nous allions. Alors, peut-\u00eatre que pour aller de l'avant, il faut rencontrer un professionnel pour d\u00e9baller certaines de ces bo\u00eetes proverbiales. Ou peut-\u00eatre s'agit-il d'une conversation avec un ami de confiance pour traiter - peut-\u00eatre pour la premi\u00e8re fois - des choses qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rel\u00e9gu\u00e9es dans le tiroir \u00e0 ordures. Il peut aussi s'agir d'un geste aussi simple et direct que l'envoi d'un SMS ou d'un appel qui se fait attendre depuis longtemps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Un couple de versets bibliques dit : \u00ab Nous devons donc nous d\u00e9barrasser de tout ce qui nous ralentit, en particulier du p\u00e9ch\u00e9 qui ne veut pas nous l\u00e2cher.
